Description - Description: NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit (CSU), on behalf of NHS Birmingham and Solihull Integrated Care Board (BSol ICB), is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced providers for the provision of Complex Dementia Discharge to Assess (D2A) Beds for patients that present with dementia and behaviours that challenge. Where this cohort of patients no longer require an acute hospital bed and have been identified as unsafe to return home immediately (even with services), these Complex Dementia D2A beds will enable citizens to receive ongoing care and/or rehabilitation for up to six weeks.
