Description - Description: The city of Kehl, large district town of the Ortenaukreis with around 38,000 inhabitants, had three municipal baths, an outdoor pool in the core city, closed since 2021, an outdoor pool in the Kehler district of Auenheim and an indoor po ol, which, however, had to be closed in spring 2017 as a result of building damage. Due to the estimated structural costs, the dilapidated technology and the no longer up -to -date development of the indoor pool and the Kehler outdoor pool, the municipal council then decided to refrain from an indispensable renovation of the two baths and to prepare a new building on the site of the decommissioned outdoor pool in the core city.
